Who We Are

CJ’s Catering started delivering sumptuous home cooked food in early 2009 and has since then grown in popularity in the Georgetown, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Hutto, Taylor and North Austin areas. With rave reviews from clients we were voted Best of Georgetown 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017 in the catering category. Chef Ralph Acquaro and his dedicated team are recognized for their ability to create a great meal for a wide range of corporate, philanthropic and social events.

We create custom menus expressly for your needs at reasonable rates and can provide event staffing, bar service, coordinate rentals of linens, china, and flower arrangements – anything it takes to make your event special. CJ’s Catering will cater any size event from personal chef dinners in your home to large company banquets.

CJ’s Catering is based out of Mel’s Lone Star Lanes. But don’t let that fool you, because this isn’t bowling alley food. Our 1,400 square foot kitchen is rocking around the clock keeping our overhead low which means great food at a great price for you. Let us simplify your life, let us do the cooking.

    Hi Chef Ralph,
We are having a luncheon on Tuesday the 25th at ERCOT in Taylor (up to 70 people) to celebrate completion of two large projects. I know this is last minute, but the date became available and I was hoping you could accommodate us.
We want to make this luncheon very special for a job well done by our ERCOT employees… not just pizza, bbq or sandwiches, so looking to have some classic dishes.

Budget is $20 per person plus delivery fee – total budget is approximately $1500
    Will need vegetarian options!!

We are interested in buffet style, serve yourself with a good assortment of appetizers, a salad, a few entre type dishes that they can choose from & desert –

Here are the types of items I was thinking about, could not find your menu so I am just shooting from the hip from some other catering menus ERCOT works with. Please put together a suggested menu that you think might work.

Approximately 70 people and each person will only take a small serving of what they like… want to make sure there is not a lot of extra food, so maybe each appetizers is for 35 people

    Antipasto Tray for 35 people
Veggie Tray with Ranch AND Spinach dip (Veggie) for 35 people
Spinach & Artichoke Empanadas (is this Veggie???) for 35 people
Shrimp & Crab Cakes for 35 people
    Chicken Satay for 35 people

Entre – approximately 70 people, so maybe enough for 35 each dish served in self-serve heated pans / dishes. We definitely don’t want extra food, and along with the appetizers I think this will be enough.
    Garden Salad for 50 people
Chicken Marsala – (just the chicken dish, not sides except for a mixed veggie) for 35 people
Pork Loin – (just the pork sliced in serving tray) for 35 people
Vegetarian Lasagna? – can you do one half size pan for our vegetarians? for 15 people
Side Veggie – Mediterranean vegetable medley for 50 people

Desert – 70 people, but think we can do each item below for 35 people total so they can choose one or the other.
    Brownies for 35 people
    Cookies for 35 people

Can you do this in our budget??

Thanks so much guys! Please feel free to call me if you want to speak in person.

  4. Hi, I’m looking for an affordable wedding caterer for July 21, 2018. It would be for about 125 people. We’ve had your chicken fried steak at another wedding & loved it. We are also interested in getting a quote for use of actual plates & glasses vs paper plates.

  5. Hi our wedding is March 31st next year at Silo and Oak. We are going for a casual cocktail type catering set up. We would love to get a quote and tasting. You were highly recommended. Thanks a bunch

  6. I would like a quote for a party in May for approximately 50-60 people. Time would be around 2 PM for 2 hours, so appetizers only, no meals. Drinks would be ice tea and water. I would like set up and service also.

  7. I am having a wedding in October with 100 people and was wondering what food options and how much it would be. I’m thinking maybe fajitas but wanted to see what was affordable.

  8. We are needing information on catering a reunion on September 29 in Georgetown with about 250 people. What are the menu options and the cost? You all catered my daughters wedding last summer and were amazing! Thanks in advance for any information.
